The Fluorofab® belts are manufactured as an open mesh fiberglass belt, impregnated with a hard PTFE Teflon®. The non-stick surfaces of these resins offer a temperature range from - 400 °F to + 600 °F.
The sewn glass substrat provides exceptional strength and dimensional stability with a 70 open screen area providing a high airflow level, increasing the drying speed and reducing energy consumption. This fabric is also available in a black coating for ultraviolet drying applications.
Strengthening edge reinforcement : GBI belts can be provided with a heat sealed or sewn band fabric on one or both edges.Strengthening provides two functions; it reduces the fraying (tearing out) of the belt edge and it provides the strongest possible anchoring for pins used to guide belts, clamps and rings. Reinforcement for edges is standard for belts connected by pins or rings.
